Dear Mariarosa, THANK YOU for your contest blogshare. Your MASTERY of IMITATIONALISM (in what appears to be a fairly recent exploration with innate “language”)…responds directly to MY Motivation for this and others of my contest series…my wishing to somehow encourage EACH of us to SEE our individual contribution to the INTERCONNECTEDNESS of Aesthetic Beauty. I believe we are ALL artists, each a spectral ray in the Blindingly Beautiful Light…each of us expressing our Aesthetic in endless deLight. Your work is SO INSPIRED and, I suspect, is the ultimate outcropping of a lifelong DEEPer GAZE and gathering of DETAIL and Colours! BRAVA! …thank you SO much for the Beauty, the Boldness, the Elegance…my heArt sings! BEST to you. I love how you “teach” the relationship-aspect of Art as Language …perhaps our innate one..:-) I learned I had so much to un-learn after my hiatus then…return.

Thank you, Laurel.I find colored pencils to be a lot of fun to work with because of the detail work possible, like painting with a one-hair brush...it teaches one patience...
